The State Bank of India is having a maximum number of bank account holders among all banks. There are a total of 24000 SBI bank branches in PAN India and approx. 2,57,252 employees are working on it. SBI is well known for providing comfortable and proficient working to its employees. The bank always assists its employees in learning new technologies and trends for development and growth.

By keeping the employees benefit in mind, the bank has launched the new online portal “SBI Gyanodaya E-Learning” for their employees. The aim of launching this e-learning portal is to provide all the latest updates related to the banking and the working structure of the bank via online mode to their employees.

With the help of “SBI e-Learning,” employees can learn and check all the latest updates via online mode at To access the portal employees, require to login to the Human Resource Management System (HRMS) by providing their valid login id and password. Employees can use this service any time he/she wants and can update himself/herself with every new update.

Any employee of the State Bank of India can access the SBI Gyanodaya E-Learning for free. The bank has made it mandatory for the employee to do their registration for the learning portal. The State Bank of India does not issue the external certification; the external certificate is regulated and issued by the apex bank of India that is the reserve bank of India (RBI).  To avail the external certificate employee, need to go through the module-based training, the training is also available via online mode. Employees also require to attend the offline workshops and the scheduled seminars as per the norms.  The External Certificate is generally issued to the officer scale employees having a scale of 1 to 5.

The Internal certificate is given by the State Bank of India itself to its employees. The certificate is generally issued to the clerk level employees and not to the officer level. To avail, the certificate employees, require to register themselves online at the SBI Gyanodaya E-Learning portal and also have to attend the workshops offline as per the guidelines.
